For the second year straight Kevin Konschak took the hill for the Orioles to start the season. K-Shack delivered 6 quality innings enroute to his first win of the 2012 season. He finished the day yielding two earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6. While pitching held down the visiting offense, the Orioles hitters took a new and aggressive approach to 2012 under Coach Bill Kenney. The O's scattered 14 hits and crossed the plate 8 times on the day. First year players, Jesse Crespo and Kevin Kelly added two hits a piece and opened up the scoring in the 5th with a pair of extra base hits. Team veterans and last years Co-MVP's Greg Stanislow and Damon Horn contributed at the plate and on the bases. Stanislow started the season off with a lead off triple in the first and eventually scored the games first run. Damon Horn stroked his way onto the base paths twice and collected 3 stolen bases in the contest. Bill Mann entered in the 7 inning and closed out the contest to record the save.
